Alex Briggs is the Founder and CEO of Silent Wounds and Warriors Foundation. A Purple Heart and Bronze Star recipient, Alex was injured by an explosion during deployment, leading to a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), chronic pain, and PTSD. After receiving life-changing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, he founded the non-profit to help veterans and first responders suffering from similar invisible wounds. Alex holds advanced degrees in Engineering and Business, works for a leading tech company, and is a proud father of three. He's been happily married for over 10 years.
Joey Muramoto is a Senior Operations Director and United States Army Special Forces Veteran with over 15 years of experience in Operations Management and Strategic Planning. Throughout his career, Joey has led teams of over 50 personnel and managed 98 special projects across more than 20 countries. His ability to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency has been key to his success in managing high-value global operations. Joey's dedication to supporting veterans and first responders through Silent Wounds and Warriors Foundation stems from his own experiences as a combat veteran. He is passionate about providing a safe space where those affected by the invisible wounds of service can seek help and begin their path to recovery.
Daniel McFeely is a clinical mental health counselor with expertise in trauma and PTSD. He holds degrees in both history and mental health, having graduated from Northwestern’s top-tier program. As an EMDR therapist, he is passionate about helping individuals heal. With a deep love for military history, Daniel also enjoys exploring its nuances. He is a devoted husband and father of six.
Albert Chavez served in the United States Army for twenty-one years, spending eighteen of those years in Army Special Forces. The majority of his service was spent on an Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) as a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant, where he deployed numerous times overseas, including several combat deployments. After being diagnosed with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Albert became passionate about helping other military members and first responders who are affected by this invisible wound. He is committed to raising awareness and supporting others in their recovery.
Albert holds a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Studies and Defense Analysis and currently works for a leading tech company. A dedicated father, he is especially proud of his son, Isaiah.
